I got followed home by a tow truck????

first thing some people might ask, am i late on a payment and they might be wanting to repo?? NO I own the car, my name

So im driving home from work... I notice this tow truck tailing me.... Im thinkin ahh no big deal, Im speeding and he is just trailing me cuz he thinks/knows I have a radar...

well i make a few turns after getting off the highway and he is still folowing every move.... so i turn into my complex and BAM he turns in right behind me. I immediatly do a u turn and go right back out... he sits there for a few seconds then does the same. at this time im like screw this im not getting shot and punch it to the max taking every turn i could get to get away... yeah shoulda called a cop to come pull him over but that wasnt going throuh my head at the time....


So now im scared he knows i live in this complex. and he is gonna come tow my car off at night... now I just got this car and it doesnt have the alarm pager on it like my 94 does... well i cut the wheels all the way to one side and pulled up the e brake, so if he does try to tow it, hes gonna have to make a lot of noise to do so.....

i just dont want him to haul off my baby in the middle of the night and drop it off somewhere...., i didnt do anything to piss anyone off that i know of... I do work loss prevention , so the only people i piss off are the theives I catch...other than that. I have no clue..

Yeah seriously. I would either called the cops (actually have done that before on someone following me), or stopped my car in a place where theres a bunch of people, grab my box-cutter (work at a grocery store), and confronted him. That's just me though.

One of my buddies actually keeps a small paintball gun under the passenger seat. That would come in handy too in a situation like this.

No, just park your car in view of your apartment, turn the wheels and use the e-brake, then wait for the alarm then grab your 12-guage and find out what the h#LL is his problem. :slap: You do own a 12-guage RIGHT? Just my 2 cents, I better not catch anyone messing with my car. :rock:

I would have just stepped out of the car stood there and started writing down any bit of info I could see on the vehicle and about the driver. Theeeeeeen I woulda walked up to the drivers window and had a happy discussion with the driver.

I would have just got out of the car, and ask what the hell is going on. Why couldn't you just do that?

I would never get out of my car to confront someone...that's just asking to be shot/stabbed/beat to death/run over.

I would, however, roll down my window and have some words with him. At least then if the need arose, you could just duck, rev it up, and dump the clutch.

people just do weird things..i got followed allllllll the way home once by this cop..i get out of the car at my complex and he pulls up to me..i didnt do anything wrong so i was kinda weirded out..all he wanted was to ask me questions about my car cuz he liked it (somewhat of a younger guy)..it was weird though..whoever it was ..they were probably just trying to scare you..people have done this to me..i pull it to the side..slam the brakes..pull it back over..and in the blink of an eye now im the one behind them ;)
