  • Amazing how Much a 600lb difference is.

My camaro actually feels like it wants to go forward now. I just took the 600lbs of salt out of my trunk since its pretty apparent spring is here and took the t-tops off. Easily the best day of my month. Just thought I would share.

600lbs is enough.. thats all. When I have to drive my car, it either before the plows can come by, or after its too late for them to bother and there is 4 inches of fresh snow. And every now and then you gotta use a bag to get unstuck. And it definitly damn near bottomed out. After I took it out, The whole rear end sits a solid 2-3 inches higher. This is the 2nd winter I have done this... The first winter I had none at all so I have to make up for it. (Triple A knew me by my first name the first winter. ) :D

And I dont think its quite 600, Probably in the neighberhood of low 500. I suppose I shouldnt have said 600. It just sucked takin it out.

you know, with the driver and 600 lbs that pretty close to the max load rating on an f-body.

i typically run 100lbs in the back of the truck for winter. that enough with the limited slip. if i didnt have limited slip i would probably go with 200 lbs. keep in mind that trucks suffer from poor weight distribution. 100lb should be plenty in an f-body.
