Cool, but have you looked into it yet? They're saying it can take up to three months to receive your permit. You'll also need to take some sort of training course before you apply.

lo jack is allright i guess, it really depends on your city because Lo Jack sells the device that the cops use to track down vehicles.

You would think Lojack would just give them away, but nu-uh they sell them to the police dept, so it depends on how many your city has or what ever if your car will be recovered.

And you can steal any car with a tow truck now matter what kind of security system you have.

The problem with a type r is most theifs are content with stripping it right there and leaving the shell for you. There isn't anything you can do to stop them from taking the seats, wheels, wing, front air dam, and clock (yes they steal the clocks). All those parts sell for huge money and are a lot easier to get rid of than a whole car.

And there is a monthly fee. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but if I had a fear of my car being stolen, I'd definitely pony up the money.

A few hours away? Damn, I live about 10 minutes from the gun club. Sounds like you guys can get away with just a hunter's safety course. We take a NRA-approved CCH course.
