As all of you can see from my sig I have a 95 3.4L camaro. Ive been working as a mechanic at my local repair shop for almost a year now and think I am very capable of undergoing an engine swap a few years down the road. This was my idea. I wanted to keep the stock fuel injection system and if possible get around having to get a tune but that might might be impossible. But anyway what I had planned was to buy 2-3 junk yard motors. A 3.4 out of a 99+ Grand AM GT, a 3100 possibly, maybe just the upper and lower manifolds, and another RWD 3.4L block. Over the course of the next several years while im going to start college this summer I wanted to slowly build me another 3.4L engine to go in my car but only with Gen III aluminum heads and intake manifolds like ive researched about on FullThrottleV6. Money isnt really an issue because I want to keep my baby for a long time to come so that I might pass it on to my kids one day. Tell me what you guys think about the idea. My dad even supports the idea and we are going to go junk yard hopping next weekend for a few misc parts that I need along with looking for the proper engine parts that will be needed.

I like it. I've read about that also. I'm very seriously thinking of building the 3.4/3400 Hybrid when it comes time for a rebuild on my engine. Getting closer to 200 hp for an extra couple hundred bucks sounds good to me.1995 Camaro 3.4L A4
Check out my other ride. www.sounddomain.com/ride/820732
