  • Guy died trying to steal a car across the street

From my work, theres this club called the dancing fox and this dude was trying to steal this other guys porsche gt3 and the guy opened fire and shot the thief like 4 times. This happened like an hour ago, i was talking to one of the cops who i know from doing patrol around here. He says since it wasnt self defense the guys looking at some trouble. Nice car though.

I support the guy, 1 shot would be enough though.

I nearly beat this guy up for parking his old rusted out Monte Carlo too close to my car.

I think temporary insanity should be allowed in this case.

yeah, he could be looking at murder two or manslaughter one.... he had no legal right to use leathel force. he would have had a right to beat the guy, but not to use a deadly weapon.

definetly a nice car though

There is a fine line between protecting your personal property and taking out your ruthless rage on people.

Thiefs aren't people. They're useless piles of **** that deserve to be shot.

                    Tough call.....

If he didn't have the weapon he could have died....

If he had the weapon and shot the guy in the leg/ arm.... who knows....

If he shoots the guy.. kills him.... because he is defending his life/ property.... then I don't think I have a problem with it.

W/O knowing all the facts I'm limted on getting specific.

It is always easy to say... he shoulda just shot him in the leg/ arm when we are not there..... or... he shoulda kicked his @ss.....

Granted this guy was in way over his head trying to steal a Porsche but thieves are actually still people just like you and I. They just attempt to make a living in an illegal way. That’s why they are still granted their rights and a fair trial. It's true that they should be punished and a lot of the time the justice system in our country fails. We should go back to older ways of dealing with criminals like public executions and the good ole' concept of an eye for an eye.

                              Thank you..
Look im not defending criminals here. When I become a police officer I will do my best to make sure these criminals see justice. My only concern is if we killed everyone that has done somthing really stupid in life like steal a car there would be a lot of dead people and we would never know their story just or unjust.
