I would say firebird for +98. They look much better than the camaros of the same year.
Stay away from the Mustang. There have been several tests comparing them to the f-bodies (even Car&Driver) where the f-bodies won hands down.

My mom has the bird and i have maro. One thing I dont like about the bird is when it rains the water stays in tail and doesn't drain. Another plus about the camaro is the lights come on automatically. Get the 2002 Firebird. The Mustang just does not have the get-up-and-go that an f-body has. Plus everyone and their grandmother has a damn Mustang.
