I rode in a Mustang with a 342 CI dropped in and I nearly forgot the power of a V8 sucking you into your seat... Well deal is this... The guy with the Mustang is experienced with engine swaps and can help me find cheaper places to get it done... At the same time though I was just going to mod and do the internals of my V6 to get roughly 275 HP... Question is this...
Should I mod my V6 to get 275 - 300 HP
or
Should I buy a LT1 and bore / stroke it to a 383 with a mild cam, heads, and bolt ons and drop it in?
Basicly I don't know if I want a V6 or a V8 after riding that stang. My guess would be to start saving up for the V8 because there's always room for more power and I'm at a better stand off but I would still like to see how fast I can get the six...
