WRX = vomit. It may have performance capabilities, but it still looks like 20 clowns will pile out of it when it stops.

Just because its japanese doesnt mean its reliable. I know a lot non-reliable jap's.

I guess i'd have to go with the WRX though, i cant bear the thought of fwd:(.

but we're talking about cars not people ;)

i'd go w/ the WRX though. GTP's nice, but its awfully family-sedanish

GTP. it's bigger, more versitile, and easier to work on.

                      plus it's not rice.

GTP has much more room, and is gonna have more of a luxury car ride.

WRX has more of a cheap import feeling (despite being fast as f*ck)

Having driven both a GTP and an STi, I'd pick the GTP over the 2.

If I traded my Z for any vehicle, It would be a newer Cummins powered Dodge 3500 4x4 quad cab. In fact, I may be doing this as soon late spring.

                          regular WRX, or an STi?

Either way I'd be leaning towards the Impreza, main reason Manual tranny and AWD > auto + FWD... No if, ands or butts... a heavy auto FWD car is not that much fun.

I'd look into more of how I fit, and reliability of each... I'd trust the GTP over the impreza, but still look into it more, biggest fear with the impreza woudl be me screwing up the drivetrain.

well it seems whatever car I buy I end up racing it so i would go with the WRX just so I could try my hand at some rally driving :D

I can't justify the price of a WRX for the performance you get. There are much better cars out there for the money.
