ok i have heard this mess before(hey dont buy gas from such and such store0 i think it is stupid becasue you are only reaching to a handful of ppl, i mean look how big them companies are, we are not gonna stop that by emails!!! just my .02 cents i mean you all can try but when ya go by them gas stations look at them and see how many ppl there are...just as many as at the next gas station all depending on the lower price!!! personally if a gas station is lower than another and it is a name brand place i am going there i dont care where it is coming from cause i know one person cant stop nothing!!

A couple weeks ago I was reading either Time or US News, and our #1 & #2 exporter of gas is Canada and Mexico. MOST of our gas comes from the US, and only 6% came from Saudi Arabia.

Lol, did you even read the page Chet? Thats good that people don't all get together and boycott the other places. In the long run it'll just screw us over more.

I try to only buy Sunoco anyways. When I can't, I just get it at BP. They usually have the best prices around, with the cleanest stations and better fuel (around here).

I truly don't understand. Someone posts an urban legend that Snopes first labels false and then explains carefully why it's a bad idea, and says "Let's just keep that in mind next time we pump up." He's kidding, right?

The only answer to gas prices/dependence on imports from unstable countries is for us to use less gas. Higher fuel economy standards and alternative fuel vehicles are the only answer. We're driving our economy right into the ditch. Anyone who thinks how we buy gas and who we buy it from can help at all is kidding themself.

I try to stick to BP because they offer free air around here. I have a truck with a leaky tire, a g/f's cavalier with a leaky tire, and I adjust airpressure on several sets of tires for different racing all the time on the camaro.

and BP is the only place that has free air. All the others are generally $0.75 now, some are still $0.50.

So if I can get to a BP for gas I do, if something happens nad I can't I just go wherever.
