Since most of you are in the high-school or college age brackets, maybe you can answer this for me.
What is up with John Deere?
I got dragged kicking and screaming to the mall this weekend and couldn't help but notice all these teeny bopper stores had John Deere hats and shirts and stuff.
What gives? Is this a new fad? Or is it a Montana thing?(It wasn't when I was in HS 10 years ago)
if i see a kid in a john deere shirt, i dont think that he likes john deere. its a punk thing, where you waer clothes with really stupid things on it, like sesame street or the american idol logo. its "funny". or its just a redneck montana thing.
Two little 13-year-old girls came into work the other day, both wearing John Deere t-shirts. They looked stupid. The least that they could have done was mow the lawn or something.

Its not really a punk thing, Its more a prep thing. A nice John Deere trucker hat with a nice zip up adidas jacket, and some ironed slacks to the max and your good to go. Punk is more of a Original NES shirt, like Super mario haha. I know its prep here, may be something else else where.

i see mostly girls wearing it around here. its funny that they sell john deere stuff at like pac-sun, and then i go visit my cousins in nebraska who have the same shirt that they got from some farm supply store(they live no wear close to a mall)because they like john deere.

you are correct. skaters wear NES stuff too lol. theres this one skater kid who has a belt buckle that looks like a controller and a NES armband. i dont think he showers, he smells like ****.
its just trendyness at its best... characterize it how youd like, but whether you think its a punk, prep, or emo thing, i think its RETARDED, same thing with all these trucker hats with the mesh backs, all of a sudden its fashionable. i laugh at how people choose to express there 'individuality' by all dressing the same. LOSERS.
