well, went outside to check on the car ( neighbors had a party last night, so drunk people plus driving = bad stuff ) so i wanted to see if anyone hit my car or something.

so im walking around the front and a chipmonk ( sp)pops it head out of the engine compartment ( by the windsield ) and quick goes bad in. what am i sopossed to do? i dont want it to chew on any wires or anything. and i didnt wonna try to scare it becuase those claws look sharp. and i dont want it scratching the heck out of the new paint.

someone help :(

if you're scared of & for a chipmunk, then you have NO bisiness driving that car, let alone any car (well, maybe a neon).

Start the car.

as long as that rodent thinks it's safe to hide up in there, you'll soon find other rodents doing that too. Soon you'll find teh squirrels nest w/50 billion acorns between teh firewall & the back of the engine.

edit: speaking of ROADKILL

ok guys, i hit the panic botton and it hoped ( almost flew ) out of the hood. but it only ran like 15 feet away,so i just hit the botton again. now its gone it only had 3 acorns in there, and one half eaten one. hopefully it wont come back. thanks guys.

This reminded me of the time I was looking at a beautiful black 1992 305 V8 5spd T-top Formula that sat for a long time ( $4900 tag ) and the used car dealer gave me the keys for a spin.
First thing I did was to pop the hood to view the motor and it was clean but when I opened the air cleaner, out jumped a gang of small mice.
When that was over, I sat inside and started the motor and cruised around for a few rounds of hard driving.
I came back with a silly grin and parked it back. Upon opening the drivers door, a few more mice had jumped out from the harsh ride they got.
It was a decent car but I had to pass it up for the high price and mice I told the dealer.

Anyways about the squirrel problem, I think he was getting high off your new paint fumes if any or making itself a new home in your stationary Camaro.

This reminds ME of the time I went to sell my Borla muffler to a friend of mine who was begging me to sell it to him for $300.

I took him to the storage space under my brother's house where I had it put away and I was like "Yeah, you'll love this muffler, it's awesome, has a million mile warranty, will outlive the car, etc etc..." then I go and pick it up and hear all these rattles and I'm like "what the hell is that?!?! Is there something wrong with this thing? There shouldn't be... It's practically brand new..." Then I turn it over and shake it some more and about 100 acorns come tumbling out of it!!! I was like "ooooooops, guess someone was storing their nuts in here..." talk about embarrassing... so I made sure all the acorns were out and he ended up buying it anyway.
