Here we go again. Looks like it has it's sights set on Tampa.

If this becomes a named storm, which all indications point that it will, it will become 'Wilma'. I can't help think of the Flinstones

Some useless trivia, this is the last name in book for this season. If another named storm forms after this one, it will take on the greek alphabet, and become TS Alpha. If this happens, it will be the first time since they started recording hurricanes in the mid 1800s.

Good, I have felt freaking left out this year. It was strange, not having to hoard supplies, miss work and have power go out. I just knew we couldn't get by scott free.

Here in CT, we just saw the Sun for the first time after the massive 8 day rainstorms we experienced.
1/2 a block away from where I reside there is a shallow river I enjoy peeking over from standing on the bridged road. I went to the same spot there today and the raging waters had almost crested beneath the bridge. Staring at the murky water, I froze in sheer fright that I was going to be swept away but calmed down knowing that the bridged road was sturdy enough to carry traffic that was busy behind me.

Point is this extreme weather is both exciting yet troublesome for some areas no matter where you live and it has been on the increase.

I hope this new tropical depression by you Floridians doesn't materialize in another evacuation of some sorts but I'll be watching it too since it also brings more rain towards us in the Northeast corner.

because days off of work, tons of drinking, and lots of sitting around in the dark(which leads to sex) is a bad thing.

Proof of it there was a baby boom 9 months after the 3-peat last year.
