I've seen Metallica 3 times now live. I have to say they're the second best show I've ever seen live. KISS was the only thing that was better live then they were of the 50 some concerts I've been too.
I have all their cds and I have to say I love the rest but I hated St. Anger... but then I hate the new bassist too so what can ya do. Guy needs to be in Korn or something not in Metallica. He's just not Metallica style. If only Cliff Burton could be ressurected....

He sure is better than Jason, [img]smile.gif[/img] Robert Trujillo is one badass bassist, it's a sad, sad shame Metallica had to take him from Ozzy. I thought (Robert) he was an amazing bassist for Ozzy and had a badass beat, one hell of a nice guy too. Just listen to "Perry Mason" from Ozzmosis [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img] awesome bass'ing done there.
Still a sad, sad shame Ozzy and Metallica swapped bassists.

i like ALL of Metallica's old stuff and i don't mind some of the St. Anger cd. I saw them in concert on the Summer Sanitarium tour last summer for the first time and it was by FAR the best concert i've ever seen. But i love Metallica

I have pretty much the same opnion that the old is way better. ST. Anger is the only album i don't own. Just listen to some of the lyrics on that album, they are horrid.

For the most recent show i bought 2 tix from ticketmaster for 155 overnighted. couldnt find a second person to go, Concert was on a thurs night at 7, i got off work at 4 and drove to the arena that is 2.5 hours away from me. after parking, walked in the arena at 745 (missed godmack) concert though was awesome, best metallica concert ive ever seen, after the concert i left and drove home, was in bed by 3. Had to get up at 630 to go to work:)
