well after the 6 bangers goes in the Supra im debating doing this. Its not nearly as expesive as it may look or seem. Its a V8 out of a Toyota Tundra.....these motors are also forged and hold lotta power.....what u think?
I haven't ever seen that swap. What kind of power are the twin turbos making (assuming one is finished)? Looks like it would be interesting, but fitment would be snug for those turbos and from that first picture it looks like a cowl hood would be on the build list. I'm not sure that I would like a supra with a cowl. Especially yours, since it is still very clean as far as exterior mods go.
they made 724rwhp at only 24psi and one guy made 463 Naturally Aspirated with a a bunch of mods.........surprisingly the stock hood fits.....just in that pic the motor isnt fully sitting where it supposed to be makin it look like its high up.
lol so ya finally decided to go with a mostly american muscle engine, huh? well plus turbos... my god shane, whats happened to ya? haha j/k dude... looks like a bad a$$ idea but arent ya makin more horses then that right now? better idea... send me the engine thats in your car right now and then you dont have to wait til ya kill it... and you can go ahead and start the project... just tryin to help ya out shane....

It must be a sight to see it in a Supra.
lol i didnt say it was an american v8... i said its mostly american and moving into more of an american muscle state of mind... arent tundras built in south carolina or something? and i know theyre fixin to start building them in san antonio... that makes it american with a japanese badge on it... lol

I guess our cars are Canadian Muscle then... which would explain why most of the cars on this forum run in the 15s.
Back to the supra... it sounds like a badass swap. You would still have a ton of power to the ground, but not as much lag to get there.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
