Ford's problem is that they have to supercharge everything to get any kind of power.

No matter what car you will get there is always someone out there that is going to say it sucks or something.

Actually the LS2 is rated at 400/400 and will have the base Corvette performing as well as the current Z06 models, and in case you don't know a Z06 with a competant driver will hands down destroy a stock Cobra, as it has more HP (405) and is a couple hundred lbs lighter.

Yep, the ratio of money in terms of modding and maintenance makes the LS1 the best, if not one of the best, engines to mod.

And bah...to the Viper fanboys. The Viper is a GREAT machine..though the most typical driver buys it because of the reason that they can be fast and talk **** to everyone else. I bet many of those people just stay stock anyways...I guarantee the Viper asses who talk smack are stock...

Have faith, you'll be cookin in no time. I know quite a few Viper killers kickin around my area.

EDIT: OH yea..can't forget to restate the common line of "there is always someone faster". But remember, their car doesn't put the grin on your face, your car does.

For us v6 guys, we are in a small world. Forced induction and nitrous is the only way to truly keep up with the V8 fellas. Im sure if someone had the balls to drop 15k into a v6 camaro for performance, the car would atleast keep up with cars that make 11 second passes. Perhaps 10's.
Did 12secV6 make it into the 11s at AIS like he planned? He never said anything. :x

I was just generalizing, I know for a fact guys like 12secv6 can make 11's ET's with much less than 15k put into the car I can't say the same for my pastor if he wanted to get 11's for his firebird. LOL

Quit with the ricer excuses. You sound just like the people whom this site laughs at: rice boys. There are alot of "buts" in this world. Stick to whats relevant.

You won't hear me sit back and say I am a Ford fan nor will you hear me say I am not. I am an unbias person and honestly, your last sentence is quite laughable to say the least. Live in the real world and you will be able to know facts because it seems as if you only know fiction. Ford has made quite a few n/a engines that had quite the gusto. The 4.6L DOHC has made excellent power in the Mark VIII, Cobra and Mach I, etc.., The 5.4L in the Cobra R was rated at 385hp. Get your facts straight before you made a rediculous statement.

One company chooses the route of using big cubic inches while the next uses smaller displacement engines with a power adder. So friggon what? If the shoe was on the opposite foot and GM was using smaller engines with f/i, you'd be praising it to holy heaven but since it is Ford, it's wrong! But wait, didn't GM go that route before when making some of its best performing vehicles and don't they still do it now? How about the turbo 3.8L which came in the T-Type, GN, GNX and TTA? Lets not forget the turbo 4.3L in the Typhoon and Syclone. Fast forward to the latest offerings with the s/c 3.8L that came in the GTP, GS, SSEI, LSS, etc.., Who cares how a company chooses to make power as long as they do it? I am sure GM could have made a powerful n/a engine in their cars w/o having to use the s/c 3.8L. If I said they could only make power using a s/c, I'd extremely misinformed.
