Wrong. Momentum is conserved, not force. There's a mass term on either side of the equation. Your reasoning would only work if the bullet weighed as much as you+gun.

2) There isnt anyforce acting against the bullet on the pin so even IF it did go off it would have enough force to push it outta the barrel because there would be very little shockwave

what? it doesnt matter where the bullet is made. black powder already has an oxidizer built in (potassium nitrate typically). they dont rely on atmospheric oxygen for combustion.
