    GTO? Maybe?

Hopefully, the GTO is switched to this new platform.

    Camaro? Maybe?
Rumors keep piling up saying the car will be set for a 3rd/4th quarter 2006 debut on the zeta platform.

    Charger? Maybe?

No matter what if this is what the car may look like or not. I can gaurentee this car will sell big. My dad already said a new charger would be bought immediately.

All I know is that I am buying a decent, economical new car within the next couple of months so that I can have a warranty and rebuild my credit in order to achieve my ultimate goal of buying a brand-new Camaro (or, if no 'Maro, Charger) in 2008.

GTO should go away, F-body should return in at least Trans Am form.

As much as we all love F-bodies, we need to come to terms with the fact that the F-BODY will not be back, although some names associated with it will be. GM's nomenclature has changed, and "badge-engineering," like that found on the F- and J-bodies, will no longer be seen. It will more than likely be built on one of the new Greek-letter platforms, many of which support rear- and all-wheel-drive, and the simple fact is that Pontiac will have two cars (Solstice and GTO) to fill the void left by Firebird. The Camaro could be back in any number of really cool or really dismal designs. I know that a lot of you out there hate the GTO, but GM only brought it back in this current form so that they could have something in the sports-car market while they have time to properly develop the new GTO. The next generation (hell, next YEAR'S) GTO will be a different beast in both style and performance. All of you out there can b*tch and moan all you want about the current crop of sports cars and designs. I, for one, am looking forward to the next few years with great excitement. We are witnessing the birth of a new horsepower war, and the muscle cars of today will battle not only with raw power but with handling prowess and refinement. May it be brutal.

The Charger looks like a Ram (What Dodge doesn't though?) with the rearend off a fox body Mustang. What will they think of next?

And if you think the Firebird Trans Am is gone, give it 40 years. It'll be back with wings and a brand new LS50 jet engine. For real though, I bet it will be back when Pontiac runs out of ideas to keep buyers interested in them.
