"Floating" occurs because the car becomes more streamline at higher speeds. Meaning the air starts going under the car faster, giving it a 'lift' feeling.Black \'94 Trans Am A4- SLP CAI & Loudmouth<br />Red \'93 Firebird A4- Ram Air under the WS6 hood, !cat, exhaust.

I have hit the limiter numerous times in both my cars... honestly didn't feel floaty in either one unless it was a really windy day already.
both felt pretty stable.
now my 3rd gen, when I had thing over 85 I thought I was going to die.
