i still do not understand? it gets soft at high speeds causing a lack of control/feeling waht your car is doing?

"Floating" occurs because the car becomes more streamline at higher speeds. Meaning the air starts going under the car faster, giving it a 'lift' feeling.

I've done 140 with targa top off and windows down... was pretty loud but car felt stable...

I have hit the limiter numerous times in both my cars... honestly didn't feel floaty in either one unless it was a really windy day already.

                both felt pretty stable.

now my 3rd gen, when I had thing over 85 I thought I was going to die.

and you guys wanna know what feels floaty... do 108(I assume) in a 96 cavalier, with factory suspension at 80k
