okay then.. i was coming down 360 southbound in the left of 2 lanes (for all you DFW people) and i pass Glade road and come upon some really heavy traffic. so i come to a stop and am sitting there for approximately 5 seconds when i see this little pos HAULING A.SS (i estimate around 50 - 55 before braking) towards me in the rear veiw. in the 4 seconds i have to process any info in my head before getting assf*cked by this guy, i jerk my wheel left and attempt to drive onto the curb and into the dirt (construction) so as not to get hit. obviously that didn't work. i hear his tires screech and then smash, i get thrown into the huge dirt ditch where they are building a 'real' highway...

i get out and look... early 90's champaigne colored HONDA MOTHER F*CKING CIVIC!! needless to say i was livid. i stand there and brush myself off and notice that this dude isn't getting out of his car. i can't see in because of all the steam from his radiator that exploded when he hit me. i'm thinking that this guys dead or something. so, i run over to his car and open his door and he's just sitting there staring at steering wheel.

an older guy around 45 or so.. not really too much more to the story except the pics on the link posted above.. i got towed and the tow truck guy and the body shop i got towed too both said that it might get considered a total loss.. so, long story long i will probably not get the bird back :( now i know how all the rest of you who've recked your babies feel

-and i don't really blame "god".. it was just an expression

hey now your talking.. i looked on kbb.com and it said that my car is worth 12,300 so hopefully the dudes insurance will give me at least 11,000. that should make for a lovely down payment or even WHOLE payment on an ls1. only problem is won't that rape my insurance?? i'm 22.

sorry to hear about your loss. looks like you were hit pretty hard, are you ok/ get checked out by an EMT?

not sure about texas, but insurance rates here are the ONLY reason I got a v6 in the first place.... I love mine though... and God DOES love white firebirds.... mines special (like #4 in Multiplicity, special) ;)

i'm a little stiff in the neck and back but i'll be okay. i didn't get checked my paramedics but the police did file a report. the insurance is the only reason i had a 6 too. i was thinking about getting like a little 4cyl sentra or mazda6 or something so i'll have low insurance and no payment. but i don't know what i should do.
