who wants to hear the awesome story of how i aquired my new rear end?
Im definitely in the god hates me club....
march 1st of 2003 1 week to the date, after i got my exhaust, windows tinted and 900$ alarm system i got smashed by some chick doing 60 (i was stopped) i was squished between two suvs (yay me!)
yeah my insurance adjuster said mine was totaled just by the rear damage (not including everything else) so good luck remember never take their first offer (of payoff)
360 sucks. i hate that road. i think when people get on it they automatically forget how to drive. i avoid that when i can. i hate getting on a highway and running into red lights.
" And sorry to hear about your loss, I ALWAYS watch my rearview mirror just incase some person is gonna end up hopping up on my bumper "
that's one reason i ended up on the side of the road. i saw him coming and started to try and get out of the way. good thing because i would have been at fault for hitting the dude in front of me.
" oh hey just curious... but were u able to open ur doors? when i got hit from the behind i wasn't able to open my doors "
i can open the driver side not the passenger side
" LT1's are much more difficult then LS1's to work on. I think the body styles are 10x better, as well. To each their own, though "
i like the look of the ls1 way better as well.. but i'm going for low price. but doesn't matter anyway. i have good news <\sarcasm>.. the d|ckhead doesn't have insurance so my insurance will have to pay. and that means....::drum roll:: yay my rates are going to go way up. so now instead of paying 300/month for an ls1.. i'll most likely be paying 300/month for a focus or something. and the best part.. this whole f*cking thing wasn't even my fault.. i was just sitting there. now i KNOW i'm a full fledged member of the GHM club

That is complete crap! I've always been pissed at the way the insurance system works. You pay thousands of dollars over years and years so that you don't have to pay if you're ever in an accident. Then, when you are in one THAT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, they raise your rates so that you're paying anyway. Why can't they use the thousands you've paid them over (in my case) 8 years?
i got my license when i was 16. i paid around 300 - 350 bucks until i was 21 when it dropped to 240. i'm 22 now. so yeah.. do the math, i've paid them plenty of money. they should just be able to give me what i put in. NOW i'm going to be stuck with a shyte car and be paying rates a can't afford.

Odds are, if the guy was driving a Honda Civic and didn't have insurance, he isn't going to have much to sue FOR. However, if faelyur does decide to sue, he can always try to get Old Guy's wages garnished and get paid over time.
what's the point?? he's got NOTHING he drove an archaic civic. is a freelance photographer and told me today that he was going for a job interveiw at TARGET! WTF! anyway, i'd like to sue his a.ss off. But, seriously, this dude has nothing. what would i get except wasted time and lawyer fees?
maybe he could pawn some of those expensive a.ss camera's he's got.

However, I'd suggest to the insurance company that THEY sue. Let them deal with the costs and annoyance of a court battle.
i don't know what i'm going to do.. now i'll have to pay unreal insurance payments until i turn 25. i WAS planning on getting an ls1 when i turned 25, but if my rates will be the same then that they would be if i had one now, i don't know if i can. this is so jacked.
man im am so sorry for you, ive come close to shlt like that happening....i was was commin home from the mall and just driving, loud *** ****in exhaust (slp loudmouth) and its not like i dont have a lit car and this moron in a jeep grand cherokee (sp?) decides to speed up and change lanes right next to me, i lay on horn and get UP ON THE CURB....i hear a loud smack and im up on the curb and i chase them doin 110 and they take off into a subdivison after almost causing a wreck to loose me...i have a huge dent on the underside of my car now  and wat can i do about it....absolutly nothing, im 17 and insurance will go thru the roof.....its so unfair to jack our insurance up b/c of age and gender i mean chix drive just as bad if not worse that we do but they can get a ls1 or corvette when they turn 16....we gotta wait till were 25
