I was using the opportunity to practice shooting in low-light conditions. I'm happy with the results. The fog one could have been framed better, though.

That thing actually snapped at my hook about 30 feet out from shore. I thought I had a baby largemouth because I was pulling in the little suckers left and right (to my dismay), but when I saw that I just broke down laughing. I may very well be the only living person to catch a muscle on a spinner. :D

MustangEater8251, nice pics. I can't believe the water is so freaking blue and clear. I should make my way to Mexico one of these days.

Stefan, it's the Olympus C4040 Zoom. They don't actually make the camera any more, but the C5050 Zoom is the same CCD with a bunch of improvements. For one, it's 5.0 Megapixel instead of 4.1. It also allows you to use SmartMedia and also CompactFlash, which is a big plus over the limitation of SmartMedia (128 MB is the largest size you can get). Both have the awesome F1.8 aspherical lens.

JusFlyinBy, those were all taken at Lake Durant in the Adirondack Forest Reserve. Surprisingly, it's only a 2 hour drive north from Amsterdam.

I went to the Caymun islands, Costa Maya, Cozumel/La playa del Carmen, and Belize. Little trip around the the Gulf of Mexico.

lots of blue clear water... much better then the crap we have in florida [img]smile.gif[/img]

mustangeater, i went to playa del car also..........it was amazing. i stayed at an Iberostar resort.......best vacation ive done, and ive been to europe, all around the US, on cruises...etc.
