  • UPDATE: Tuning Results After Heads/Cam!

Just cranked her up, and I am SO pumped! Already finished first heat cycle, oil change is after the next one. Oil pressure is holding above 60psi at idle, lovin' that! Even on the stock tune she has no problem chugging at idle with and without the AC on. Couple exhaust leaks I need to fix, but other than that she's done:)

I will post some dyno graphs later on, and of course keep everyone updated on the tuning progress. I don't know if today we will have a chance to tune for the spray, since we have to do about 5 V6 PCM's before 5pm:) Did I memtion that I am stoked about it firing right up??

Well, tuning will have to wait until tomorrow:( By the time we finished fighting the software and getting one of the PCM's to take the tune, and trying forever to get another to go...It is late, and I tried reading mine, and it won't. So tomorrow we will e-mail the file to HPTuners, and it will just be a matter of time until they send us a file back that will enable us to read/write it. This kind of stuff happens with new software....so far we have only had 1 PCM work on the first try. Kind of discouraging, but we'll make it happen! Results to be posted tomorrow sometime:)

Eat your wheaties, and pray your holeshot will be enough to hold me back. Come the 1/8th mile mark, I'll have a pretty good head of steam to pass you if I haven't already:)
