• played golf for the first time yesterday.

i got to say it was really fun. i play put-put with my girl every week but i decided to step it up and play golf with my friend. i have respect for all the "old" people that play now. everyone i know says im mature for my age(17) but damn, does this make me old

Almost everyday in High School all I did was play golf and smoke cigars. I started when I was 14 I guess, made me feel like I was old and retired. I developed a good taste in cigars and gve me something to do after school with my friends.

All I want to do when I do retire is have breakfast every morning at the clubhouse and play a few holes and come back for lunch and smoke a cigar and go home to my wife.

No time to play anymore... though I wish I could. :(

It's a blast to play golf early early early in the morning... I love playing when there is still dew out. Makes the rest of the day much better.

Golf. sunset, beach front, great breeze, 72 degrees, fighter jets flying over every once in awhile out over the ocean.

            That is Saint Andrews, Scotland.

I tried it once. My dad and I goofed around hitting golf balls around the house then when we got back around first to hit the tree trunk won. I beat him a few times and he said I was pretty good but I just dun like golf. I'm all about fast-paced so I guess until I tear up my body in gymnastics or some other sport I won't really appreciate the relaxation of golf . It's expensive too! Wowsers some of the courses my dad goes to..... 100s of dollars.

Golf is about the only time that I don't get stressed, even if I don't hit a good shot. I started playing last year, and I have yet to play a full 18 holes, but I have been to quite a few 9 hole courses. Since I started last year, I have learned that golf is about the only thing that didn't stress me out, regardless what I shot. I'm not too bad at it either. Last time I went out, I shot a 44 on a par 36.

golf is the most aggravating game known to man....if you're good, of course it's relaxing. if you're not that good, it's VERY easy to get irritated. just watch me every time i slice the ball...
