I took my drivers side wheel off and one of the studs is striped :[

I have the caliper off and i'm trying to get the caliper bracket off, but can't right yet (those sob bolts are rusted to hell and on tight!) and then after that i'm just gonna take the rotor out.

I just need that one stud to come off. can't i just pound it out rigt now? with the rotor and bracket on?

    have a dremel tool?

If you do pound it out, try putting teh nut back on to the stud wont mushroom out & then you'll reall need that dremel tool.

I had something like this happen on the 76 Bonnie. I took a socket & breaker bar & snapped teh stud off. I then drilled out teh remaining stud & knocked out the remaining part of it. replacement is easy
