I like how they all copied GM.

And for the record, they expire Sept. 6th.

      They've "expired" twice already.

I remember saying when it all started that this will become a trend. :D

i dunno how long this trend will last but its kinda sad in a way that american car companies need to go to such drastic measures to sell their product. Personally, id rather have a gm that needs things like alternators every so often than some honda that will run like a clock no matter how hard you beat it.. its just more fun to get dirty every once and a while...

It's just another name for the incentives they provide each year to get rid of leftover previous model year inventory... It just caught on bigger this year. I bought my Dodge on EP but I don't think it was much less than the same truck as an 04 would have been last year at this time. In fact I know it wasn't because my parents paid $1200 less for their '04 1 year ago than i did for mine. The difference is that but theirs isn't a dually and mine is... and the dually opition is a $1200 option.

It will probably become a trend, like "below factory/dealer invoice" did whenever it started

What a shocker people like being able to see the actual price of something they want to buy. Would you want to bother going to the store to buy tooth paste that is listed at $10 a tube and have to haggle your way down to what you believe is the best price you can get. NO!

Thats a bit of a dramatic example, but the whole idea of having to haggle your price down to what they are already willing to sell at is rediculous today.
