The current issue of this mag. shows how the Z06 top the Ford GT and Viper in speed, quality, cornering and best value. And it's still cheaper than those 2.

I'm just surprise how the vette beats the Ford GT especially being that it has 45 more HP. I swore I thought the vette would need a SC to beat it.

I went a looked at new vette's the other day and the 06's are SWEEET!!! The Dealer owner said he has two Z06's and 5 on order and all of them are sold he's about 9 behind.

Anyone hear about the new ford gt 500 coming out. Let me sum it up for you, gt500 > Z06. cheaper and more powerful. But if i went to buy a $60,000 car right now it would without a doubt be the Z06 cause Gm > Ford

The most recent articles I have read state that while the Shelby GT500 will be cheaper it will not pack the punch of the Z06. Initially they considered a detuned version of the Ford GTs motor, but have instead gone with a 450hp blown 5.4 liter. The GT500 will also not receive IRS. Thus we can infact conclude that Z06 > GT500 and that GM and Ford = strSuck where strSuck = "Junk Status"

I wouldn't call GM and Ford's supercars junk status. Compare to other european supercars like Ferrari and Porches they are more reliable.

True. Although I don't know if I would call the new GT500 a super car by today's standards. I have been very impressed with the turn around GM has made with the overall build quality of the new models they are putting out. The problem isn't either companies cars though... it's their businesses.
