need help... ideas for dates

ok, I'm student, no $$$. I got a girl and I need ideas where to take her. Clubs and movies are ok, but I'm lookin for more ideas, preferably where I won't have to blow $$$.

Show her you're cultured and go to an art museum... on a free day. Most museums, especially city-, state-, or federal government-owned ones, have one day a week with free admission. Just check in advance.

Hmm.. you could rent a movie take her back to your place and make some dinner. Buy a teddy bear or something too (depending on how far along the relationship is). This is a pretty effective way to save money. You'll probably spend no more than $25 bucks tops, depending on what you eat.
I'm not really sure what kinda relationship you're in, but if it's still really informal then find a party nearby that you know some of your friends and hers will be at and take her to it.
You could always, go swimming, bike riding, or for a walk. These aren't very good date ideas, but you'll at least have a lil' fun with some of them.

I was going to say you could go on a picnic but it's already been said, so you could go to the beach, you could go bowling, are there any local carnivals going on near where you live this time of year? amusement parks, if there are any smaller local ones in existence anymore.

I guess it's hard to say since we don't have a clue what kind of things this girl likes to do...

You could take her someplace public with free or cheap pseudo-entertainment, such as a museum or zoo.

My FIRST dates:

Skeet Shooting... it's fun pretending to be hick.

Gator World - in the everglades... airboat rides and whatnot.

Walmart - Pick her up, tell her to dress real nice, then walk around Walmart or a 99 cent store and say "baby, I'll buy you anything you want"

Invite her over for some dinner.. tell her you're cooking for her.. then when she comes, ask what flavor of Ramen Noodles she likes.

Those are all great... I hate trying to impress girls with buying them **** or making it seem like I'm such a great guy. Just be yourself... and then if it works out, sweet deal... if not: do you really want to have to impress a girl forever?

Basically if she digs walmart and Ramen Noodles.... she's perfect for a college student.

oh, and driving around for an hour or so with a girl is cool... girls don't mind it becuase you get to talk, and if it gets silent, just turn up the music.

I agree with art/museums and picnic. Hanging in these kinda settings allow you to spend the least amount of money, and at the same time being able to talk and really get to know this girl. Movies and clubs are fun, but can be costly and you can't converse much(well, you can converse physically [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img] ), but I'd rather get into a girl's head/thoughts first. :D
