I drove a 05 Mustang last night

Its a very nice car. It handles well, it sounds like a d4mn v8 from inside the car. I floored it and it feels like it has much more power than my car. Its taller, roomier, more visibility, has a 5 spd auto transmission, bigger 4.0L engine, handles better, bigger back seats ;D and doesn't have a blind spot. The sound system needs some work though. The Shaker 500w needs to be upgraded. They put the subs up front in the doors. I'm not quite sure why. It is weird. Its a very nice car, but its still not a Camaro/Firebird.

why does the odometer only go to 99,999.9? what happens when it hits 100k miles? i saw one on ebay and the odometer said 00080.3, kinda had me curious

two of my friends have mustangs. i hate riding in the coupe because i hit my head so much. the convertable is alright though--plenty of give in those tops when my head goes slamming into it.

yeah, theres a lot of head room in the 05's. Lots of it. I dunno about the odometer though...

they are alot roomier, I didn't get to test drive one but got to sit in it...

anyone of you guys thinking about getting one of those should just wait till the new camaro comes out (if it comes out) cause you will regret it

i would definatly wait for two reasons....one, the new camaro will be out not long from now. and second, the first year is always the worst with kinks plus new designs always come out after a couple years. compaired to the angled intake and then the better, straight intake the 99+ have...

I wouldn't I'd be happy in a stang they are nice cars. [img]smile.gif[/img] Heck with these coming out really wants me to go back through and price up an '04 GT again, maybe tehy dropped in value again. [img]smile.gif[/img]


Not wanting to wait around however long it takes for the new f-body to come out be hyped up and then become a huge let down, like just about every other car GM hypes up...


Heck around here they offer another $1750 on top of manufacturer rebates on new Fords for hurricane relief [img]smile.gif[/img]
