i just got my tongue pierced a couple days ago,i have a couple other piercings, but nothing like this has happened before... the swelling has gone down, but it randomly starts bleeding when im talking? someone told me to put salt on the barbell and it makes it heal faster? im thinking that might not be a good idea... anyone know what im supposed to do with this!?

I had the same problem. Your system is just a little slower in healing up the wound. You're just going to have to be very ginger with it until scar tissue develops around the wound. hmm... thats weird, when i got my belly button pierced it took like half the time they told me it would to heal... this one is taking twice as long... thank you though, ill just be patient (or try to)Comment

i couldnt do my eyebrow... doesnt look good on girls in my opinion... ive had my tongue done before, but it healed VERY quick and i didnt have this problem with it... then it closed up and this second time its just acting weirdComment

SALT?!?!? for the love of god dont do that. Just keep cleaning it and it will heal. Its in the process of healing and the bleeding is VERY normal. Dont worry about it. Maybe they meant "SEA salt" its something you can use to rinse with to clean it, which works very well. But at the same time remember not to clean it to much. For about 2 weeks you have to clean it after everytime you eat/drink something that is not water.
