car got broken into

well i was at work tonite thinking that my day couldnt get any worse. then i clocked out and went to my car. i look and say wtf..cuss, yell,stomp, and almost punched the f'n car. they popped the lock on the passenger side and ripped the 500 dollar stereo out! thats all they took though!?? there was about 700 bucks in cds sitting in the back seat and other stuff in the trunk. im soooooooooooooo mad right now. my baby looks like $hit. now i have to call the insurance company on monday. what the hell is wrong with people these days? why cant they go out and get a f'n job and buy their own $hit.???? just when you think that youre in a nice neighborhood and that your stuff is safe you get ****ing ripped off by some god **** low life jack a$$. if anyone looks at my car i swear to god ill whip thier azzez. i just cant believe people can be this scummy. :mad:

Happened to me once, broke my driver's side window and stole my pioneer premier deck. I use a driveway patrol alarm now, and will destroy the next lowlife that messes with my car

Sorry to hear that man. People are just stupid. You should look into an alarm, they're pretty cheap. Get the loudest one you can find, and get baseball bat to go with it.

Alarms = expensive, nooone turns their head when one goes off, a thief can disable it in a matter of seconds. I would reccommend a driveway patrol which costs $20 instead and insurance

A $5 fake blinking alarm light will be almost as effective, just for the detterent aspecct

Removing your faceplate is a good idea, but unless you take it with you everytime, the thief will know all the ussual hiding spots (under the seat or in the glove box) Occassionally, they will recognize its a good unit and steal it w/o the faceplate anyway

My Viper 850 XV alarm was $100 from a shop. Is $100 Vs the cost of your car expensive?

My car has 3 sirens, when it goes off people DO notice.

Good look finding the brain to my alarm in a few seconds, ill give the theif a few hrs since he would pretty much have to stripp the interior to find the brain. And if the brains still there the cars not going to start.

I had my driver's side window broken on my 82'Z28 (glass everywhere that I had to sit in to drive the car home). What'd they take? My godd*mn radar detector. :mad: I NEVER LEAVE the 96' out of my SITE when I take it out.

There is a motion sensor alarm you can get with a beeper that notifies you when the car is being tampered with. I think that would be a good investment. Only bad thing would be if they had a gun and you faced them in person. You'd have to think and react quickly.
