  • Update from my marriage problems post

Yesterday i took her sister home, up until yesterday i never saw what her sister lived in and i guess neither did my wife casue her mom is usually over to pick up her sister but yesterday she didnt show and we both had to go to work so i took her home, Taking her home ive just seen the outside of her house which is a ****ty apartment, i took her to the door but no one would answer so i went ahead and went in and was disgusted by what i saw, there was 2 cracked out looking people sleeping on the floor, trash everywhere, bugs crawling around, no couch or anything jsut blankets on the floor. the whole house smelled like ****. There was so many empty bottles of booze and beer you could barely walk, In the kitchen i could see **** the used to mix and smoke crack{bad youth}, also saw some needles in the trash as well as trash everywhere and ants and roaches crawling out of everything. I found her mom sleeping in a room so drunk and high she wouldnt even wake up. I took the little girl and called in to work and called my friend who works for arlington police and took her to our place, which she can call home now. My buddy and some more cops went there soon after we left and found a little under a kilo of cocaine in the house, along with minor amounts of pot and heroine. Arrested everyone in the house so i think i got her mom sent away for awhile but i dont care. Im not heartless and i still dont feel like i can raise her but there was no way i could let that **** go on. if i even knew that was going on i would have never said no in the 1st place. i knew her mom drank alot and had a bad enviroment for her kid but never that. Ill figure something out.

Cool that you took the situation into your hands like that.

I wish you the best of luck. You really are helping out a life.

That's good to hear- at least she'll be in a better place. It bothers me that someone would let their own life get that bad, but to make a child go through it also is just horrible. Hopefully you and your wife can figure out what to do, so she can have a safe, positive environment to grow up in.

              You did the right thing...

If I were you I'd look into ways of getting help from the government, the kids real father, or the mother financially. Not for the handout but to help out a little with the increase in bills.

Once again you did the right thing, its cool to be an a$$hole just as long deep down when sh|t gets serious you do the right thing.

Yah, that was nice of you, but damn dude...I konw you can't change people but $hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, put yourself in that girls shoes. You'd be PRAYING that someone like yourself saves you from that mess but your ignorance and stubborness gets in the way. Yah, I get the picture that you don't wanna "raise" this girl, especially because it would be a 2nd child, but you shouldn't have made the mistake of having a 1st child so early. So my question is, if you didn't have your child, would you then take this little girl in momentarily???

It doest matter, if i knew what the girl lived in i would have taken here a long time ago. I think it was more the fear of raising 2 kids as opposed to not wanting to raise the child.

hopefully you aren't locked up for breaking and entering. no one will be charged.

otherwise you did the right thing.
