Ah come on, you guys can't admit that he has a sweet setup... could it be better? Yes... was yours better? Probably not. How about just saying "yeah man, your dorm room kicks ***" instead of saying "It's overkill" or "you need to focus on your studies". It's funny that a car-based board is calling something overkill.

Man, when I was in school all I had was a 200 sq ft single with my own (working) fireplace.

I was hooking up with a girl that lived in the dorms for awhile, it sucked to be getting down to business then the roomates keys jiggling in the door and have to stop. Or come home late, and roomate is sleeping and have to have fun in the shared bathroom hoping neighbors didn't come in as well as her roomate.

I liked being able to have my room, with my own bathroom attached, and get away from my roomates, and the rest of the world.

I had a decent stereo, thumped and was clear but its no dolby 5.1(well capable, but I need speakers [img]smile.gif[/img] )

I mean enjoy your stuff, I just felt very fortunate, that 85-90% of my big *** student campus was forced to live in the dozens of huge apartment complexes off campus. Nothiing but college students, and if you got in trouble, was in no way traced to school.

That's where I live. As you can see, the common room is quite spacious. The individual bedrooms are built for 4, but we only have 2 people in each. My room has 4 beds in it, and I keep all my computer/guitar/bass stuff in there with ease.

We definitely get a lot of attention from people in the building. The director of housing actually stopped by and signed our wall. We're gonna try to get OSU's president and Mike Nugent to sign our walls next [img]smile.gif[/img]

Mine IS better and its is in MY HOUSE, not a dorm.

More then 1 ps2 and 1 xbox per TV is overkill, so it 12 speakers for a reciever thats designed for 5.

The only thing I own in those pics of the entertainment center is one of the PS2's. And the reciever puts out enough wattage to sound clean at high volumes, trust me on this. I can make out the lyrics to Mars Volta on the 18th floor, and our setup is on the 16th floor [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'd say my place isn't bad for a jobless college student. Everyone else on the floor hangs out here a lot.

I guess everyone has the right to not enjoy using other people's really cool, expensive stuff for free. I respect that [img]smile.gif[/img]

mabey everyone in the suite just didnt get together before they moved in, and everyone brought a ps2, I doubt they went out and bought all those ps2's and xboxes just for this room, give the guy a break, He didnt start the tread titled "no ones room is better than mine" or anything like that

I'd just be careful with everyone coming and hanging out there. More people that see the stuff = more people that can possibly decide to rob you blind. But then I'm always paranoid.

You gotta nicely setup place though. When I was in the dorms, we got a tiny box of a room, even in the best dorms... crappy UK. All those game systems reminds me of my apartment now. Me and my roomate each have like every game system imaginable from original nintendo on up. Nothin wrong with 2 of the same, long as you don't go and buy yourself two of the same system. Linking is sweet.

The pic I had in my head was better then what you have. I'm not impressed any longer. Have fun in the dorm though. I currently live in a 3 bed 3 bath duplex with two of my highschool friends. The dorms can kiss my ***.
