My dorm room is AMAZING

Hey guys, I finally moved to OSU. We've been setting up our dorm for a while, but finished it tonight. Let me list some of what we have. It's so crazy.

-32" flatscreen HDTV
-25" flatscreen TV
-4 PS2's, 3 X-Boxes, 2 Gamecubes
-Digital 5.1 surround with 12 speakers and 2 12" subwoofers
-A PC dedicated to the TV with DVI output and wireless internet
-A Linksys wireless router for our own personal inter-dorm wireless network


It is so crazy, I can't even begin to explain. Our freakin TV has internet access. We made it a screenname even, so you can ****ing IM our TV anytime! I got the best luck with housing. All my suitemates are totally awesome and chill all the time. It's gonna be a great year.

Oh yeah, we also have a full band in our suite (as in guitars, bass, and drums). Go figure [img]smile.gif[/img]

sounds nice. but if i was serious about school, all those tvs and stereos and that band would get annoying quick.

am I the only one that woudl be happier in an apartment with my own bedroom and bathroom, with a 19 in. TV, and beer money?

I'm definitely leaving the room whenever I wanna be productive. Don't get me wrong: it's great but when it comes to studying I need no distractions.

P.S. When Craig turns 21, we are so getting a kegerator :D :cool:

Which dorm do you live in that can fit that much stuff?

Also, I'd keep your stuff locked up, the room with all the goodies is usually the first to get stuff stolen from.

1.) I doubt the dorm has an HD signal coming into it to make use of the HD TV... and regular TV on an HD TV looks like butthole.

2.) So you have 2 PS2s per TV and one TV with 2 xBoxes on it? Hope you're not majoring in Economics or Finance.

3.) A 5.1 surround sound with 12 speakers hooked up? That sounds like an elephant farting, and cannot reproduce surround sound correctly.

We've got a projector to watch football games at like 7x11 feet, and a $1500 sound system. I sure as heck didnt buy any of it though, have two well off roommates.

I'm gonna ask the same question as everyone else? How is that fitting in your dorm room, do you guys have suite style dorms I'm assuming?
Ah well, have fun with the band, your neighbors will hate you very quickly. I had a band my freshman year that played in the basement of our dorm and I can tell ya on test nights we didnt get a friendly reception (girls do like it though)
