Ford sent me this certificate in the mail. I go and take a test drive of a 2005 Mercury Mariner, have the dealer sign a little paper and then Ford sends me $75.
I'll (test) drive a Ford for $75.

I think it has something to do with me recently opening a home equity line of credit ("HELOC"). They may have gotten my name from the public records filing made by the bank.

The ofer was specifically to test drive a Mariner. I did not bother to test drive any other cars because there is only a miniscule chance that I'll buy any new car any time soon.
