    got harassesed tonight !

    i so ****ing pissed off right now. i just got pulled over for NOTHING. this car next to me left from the red light and squealed the tires like no other. and i took off normally. i have the LM on my car so it is very loud. anyway im going down a few blocks then this cop come speeding up behind me with his lights on and pulls me over. he tells me my brake tag is expired. which it isnt.... i tired to show him the paper from the station stating when i got it but he told me he didnt want to see it. then he says i wasnt wearing my seatbelt which i was. then he says i was speeding 65 in a 35. he said that is all he paced me at. he didnt write more on the ticket cause he didnt feel liek taking me to jail. then he says i was racing. what the ****?! i didnt race anyone. i didnt squeel my tires. i didnt accelerate hard.

    so lets recap:

    speeding 65 in a 35
    expired brake tag
    no seat belt
    drag racing

    4 violations and i didnt do anything. how much is this going to cost if i have to pay it? will i loose my license and my insurence???? how do i go about fighting this? how can cops do this?

    Call the courts/PD and file a complaint ASAP! Take the first step and show them that you are pissed about what just happened. If they see that you want to take action on this right away they will be more willing to listen. After all, no guilty person would call up looking for a fight.

      Unless you did some of these things but your in total denial, fight it in court. Dont all cruisers have a camera equipped?, make him show proof. The break tag if proven to be up-to-date like you say will discount the other things he cited you for.

        trust me i didnt do these things and i tried to show him the proff of my tag but he didnt want to see it....even on the back of the take it says it expires in 2005. and by my calculations it isnt 2005.

        and cars down here in new orleans are not equipt with cameras.
        when i goto court wont they believe him over me anyway just because he is a cop?

            get a lawyer. most courts take the word of an officer over the defendant, but if it's blatantly wrong, you'll win.

                1- you cant fight it. you dont stand a chance on your own. get a lawyer.

                  Contact a lawyer.

                  If what you're telling us is true, I'm more than willing to bet money that if you plead not guilty he wouldn't even show up in court, and the case would be thrown out.

                      Ouch man, I feel your pain. I had the same thing happen to me on my bike. He blatantly lied like crazy and even said I did things in his statements that are basically impossible for me to do on a motorcycle. But, I was 17, and not one cop or DA or anything believed a word I said (except for my parents), and I got royally screwed over with fines just because this pr*ck was having a bad day, or I dont even know why. If youre a youngin man, you will definitley need a lawyer. Good luck, I hope you stick it to him. (If you honestly didnt do a damn thing that is, heh)
