So basically, you are proving to us that our V6's are slow??? Leave, leave now, and leave for good.
The LT1's are slugs compared to their replacements. Kinda sad actually for a performance V8. GTP's could outrun them with little mods. You go prove how fast they are, and I will tell you how slow they are compared to their counterparts.

Well, considering they run 14 flat to a high 13 stock, i dont consider that real slow. And i was bored, and had a camera, and decided to just show you all what it looks like from a V6 perspective when you are racing a lightly modded LT1.
Anyone want to host them?
Two videos, one from a dig, one from a 65mph roll.
Oh, and Mogobs30th, my friend said hed race you anyday starting in second, and the GTP that wants to line up next to him.

I'd like to see that video. Hit me up on AIM or MSN after work and I'll ahve you upload them to me
We all pretty much agree a lt1 runs high 13s to low 14s.
We will say 14.0 as an "average"
WE will then agree 3.8s run 15.2s-16.0s We will say a 15.5 as an "average"
Race a 3.8L vs a lt1 in ideal perfect conditions, both cars have .501 R/Ts and dead hook. the 3.8L is going to lose by roughly 15 car lengths.
I guess its a matter of opinion, but losing by 15 car lengths is in at least my opinion getting assraped by your competition.
Lt1s are fast. WE know LS1s are faster but LT1 if my info is up to date, still holds the record for the fastest 4th gen cars(that still has a lt1 or ls1 in it)
They have been modded up to well over 800 hp, and I don't really see that as being slow.
email me the videos and I'll host them on aviorcinematics.us

Thats just my observation.
Not sure that the LT1 still holds the record. There is a Turbo C5 on LS1tech that has 1,500 hp
EDIT:Oops I was thinking LT1/LS1's as a whole. :D
