• Off to surgery

Damn!

Right now... we know:
Torn ligament in left knee
Other damage under left knee cap

Can't do an MRI because I already have 2 pins in there.

Date: Next Friday.

I WILL be at A.S.S. but... on crutches, leg brace, sh*t load of pain killers, etc.

I've had previously:
ortho on both knees
Left knee cap relocated and 2 pins
Countless knee braces, casts etc.

He wanted to do surgery this Friday.....I asked if it could wait.... he said yes... and let me give you ALOT more pain killers ;)

Ugh, I hate this crap!

We won't know the extent of the damage until he is in there.

Well..... at least I can hope for cute nurses at the hospital right?

Guess I'll be online a HELL of a lot more than I am now :(

Race season..... postponed :(

Good luck with the surgery. Hope it's not anything too serious, and as I've never had any problems with me knees I don't really know what that stuff means.

get in the car man you have an auto..you only need one leg lol ..sh*t when i had my shoulder done (which i might have to go back under for) i was driving/racing with one arm ..if they give you lortab (hydrocodone..which i find to be better than vicitin) ask for at least 7.5/500 ;) ..good luck man! ..i know it blows..but the guy right next to me had his knee done (not sure what exactly) and he was in and out in a few hours just like me..didnt seem to be in any major discomfort..dont forget to give us an update!

Sorry I feel for you.

Was it any injury that caused all this or just worn down?

I went through something similar only for my ankle, ended my baseball career. .840 on base percentage my last season. :( It's ok now, but I can never resume full activity needed for sports. And it only hurts now if I try to run for long distances.

I'll second the motion for loritabs, don't accept 5's get 7.5's or the 10's Cloud nine , the more you take them though the less they seem to do, though.

btw, if you have any left over.....j/k

Heh, about cute nurses, good luck! When I was in the hospital, I had either ugly ones, ones that spoke incomprehensible english, and a male one that kept giving my wife and a female coworker dirty looks...

Only one cute one, but she couldn't work a needle fer crap when drawing blood for hemocrit (sp?) count tests. :(
