  • Should I blow off work for A.S.S?

Let's assume for a moment that I was told that under no circimstances would I be taking a vacation day on Fri.

Given that quasi-pseudo-hypothetical scenario, would you encourage me to:

    a) Blow off work and anger the powers that be, knowing that there is a 50/50 chance that it won't matter if I piss off the powers that be.

    OR

    b) Stay here, work all day on Fri, and be unhappy.

Ditch work. I've risked more than that on a coin toss.

Tough one. I would say stay and work.
Is it that important to go to A.S.S. to risk your job over? I would think not, but then again I don't know what your relationship is with your powers that be.

Let me ammend by saying, the chance that I would be fired is slim if not zero, but there are other ways to make my life miserable.

Is this the same job you said is a dead end job?
Or does this job have potential?

In my "younger" years I would have called off in a heartbeat, now that I have a family and kids to worry about it's a different story.

depends on how much trouble you get in... if just a little or semi, **** it, if you will lose your job, don't skip out.
