So.... my roommate got smashed into by a truck yesterday.

He was walking back from school corssing at an intersection. This chevy S-10 doesnt see him and smacks into him doint about 25. He flips over the hood into the windshield and knocks off the rear view mirror. After laying there dazed and confused he gets up, goes over the guy, and just looks at the guy and literally says WTF. The kid drives him to the hospital which is about a mile away.

He had a bunch of scans done, ct and xray. Nothing broken and nothing wrong in the head. He had to get stitches in a few places and his legs are all swollen today, and we still think his toe might be broken, and he has a nice red bald spot on his head, but besides that I'd say he did pretty well. Hes quite lucky. Either that or hes unbreakable.

people make mistakes, your room mate should forgive him.... the guy actually drove him to the hospital, he coulda just left him there

who said anything about hating the guy. we actually knew him, hes a nice kid, i feel bad for him. sucks for both of them.

truck is smashed up really nice, lost the rearview mirror, smashed windshield and hood. it was a nice truck too, lowered s10 with a chorme girll, exhaust and such. poor guy probably put a lot of work into it.

Just goes to show that it pays to not drive with your head up your a$$. But listen to me, like I drive all the time paying perfect attention. It honestly could happen to any of us, but how many of us would stop after clobbering a pedestrian?
