  • Guns...who's gottem?

Anyone here have any guns? I'm wanting to buy a rifle or shotgun, (too young to buy an handgun).

    Anyone who has any guns:
    What do you have?
    What ammo does it take?
    Price?
    Pics?

DV, i'm especially interested in your selection.

I know you're not looking for handguns but I own a .40 Glock (model 22). I love it, it took a few trips to the range to get decent, but I'm finally keeping a good tight cluster on the target with it. I use winchester 165 gr full metal jackets.. can get a box of 100 rounds for around 15 bucks.

    Glock

I also own a .22 Merlin rifle that I was given when I was younger, its a fun gun, ammo is ultra cheap.

A friend of mine has a .270 rifle which is fun as hell to shoot and will rip the 10 ring apart at 200 yards easy. I can't recall what brand it is but I'll ask him. I think he bought it at walmart. Of course, ammo is not as cheap for something like that.

ammunition for the .22s is cheap. a box of shotgun shells is around $4 and something but i shoot the model 12 in competition so i buys shells by the case

                              lol, paintball gun eh?

                              I've got a Glock 37 which shoots the .45 GAP, a DPMS M4 (which schoots 5.56mm nato), a 20 guage mossberg bolt-action, a 12 guage mossberg 500, and an sks (which shoots 7.62mm x 39).

If you're looking for a rifle an SKS can be had cheap (about $150-200 in new condition) and they are extremely fun to shoot. The ammo is also pretty cheap. If you can afford it, an AR-15 style rifle is by far one of the most fun weapons I've fired.
