i know this is a repost, but there were several requests for it
how to make a homemade grounding kit!!
1 go to home depot
2 buy 20 feet of black thhn 8awg stranded wire
3 get a grounding bar connected to a L shaped bracket (made by square D)
4 get 8 gauge o-ring terminals or the largest closest ones they have, mine were yellow.
total cost is about 10.00$
connect the ground bar (3-4 inches long) to the passenger side screw comming from the black battery terminal on the strut tower.
connect and crimp the wire ,(all these are places i have done) then place it on the bolt in the egr, throttle body, drivers side strut bolt, some where on the metal brace attached to your radiator. and any where else you feel like it
Warning, place crimped terminal on bolt, re-torque
then run wire back to terminal strip, do not cut until you are sure the wire is not touching anything that will melt the insulation of wire, or it will stink, you should have approx 2 feet left over when done
