    does anyone here take it?

I've been researching a lot about it... and I'm not sure about it. Some sources say it's safe, some say it's better not to take it.

    Do ya'll take it?

I looked into taking it again.... I used to take the monohydrate way back in the day. This is the stuff to use nowadays:

    ATP Creatine Serum

Its supposed to work/maintain a little better than the powder and most places don't have it on the shelves yet, so your best bet is off a website. Any other opinions?

i take GNC's creatine monohydrate, I have for a little under a year with absolutely zero problems, just drink enough water. I try to drink a gallon everyday. And all I have ever heard about the serum is it sucks. I cant prove it though so...

I have taken it in the past and found it useful for making gains quickly. Most of the research that I have read (and practical experience from myself and others) suggests that it's best to use it in a rotation; that is, one-month-on and one-month-off. My one caveat is that you should make sure that you are drinking twice as much water as you normally would. Creatine can dehydrate you very quickly without you noticing and that can cause kidney damage.

I currently just started my 2nd cycle of creatine, and i love the stuff. You can pump out like 2-4 more reps than you can w/o the stuff, and i seem to get a much better workout because of that.

I take GNC Creatine Monohydrate Flavorless Powder. it was like $21 for 100 servings. well worth it.

the serum is junk. If you look, its like 2.5g of Creatine, vs the 5 grams you get w/o the serum. I know people who used the serum, and they said that it sucks.

Best results i ever had with creatine was using MuscleTech's Cell Tech. Expensive as all hell, but worked amazing.

Id say take it. But ONLY if you work out incredibly hard and are very, very dedicated, otherwise yo uare just wasting your money. Just make sure you drink a LOT, i mean a LOT, of water.

problem is, they don't know the long-term effects of it. for all we know, your liver could $hit itself out when you're 40. or nothing could happen at all. they won't know until somebody who took it starts getting bad side effects.

I took a creatine cycle about 5 months ago, it was called TRAC from the GNC store. I did have more energy during work outs and could lift more. But I had alot of side affects from it. I would have major head aches and severe mood swings and feel more agressive. Some people have reported great results but I would say not to take it. Just work out hard and eat enought good meals.

Another side effect: muscle cramps. You're suppose to drink a lot of water with it.

if you dont drink enough water with it, you will get headaches and muscle cramps, and it will take a toll on your liver.

ESPECIALLY if you are taking both that and protein, you need tons of water.

if i dont drink enough water throughout the day, ill start to get a headache. all you gotta do while taking it is be aware of when you last had water. i carry a bottle around with me all the time.

like skorpion said, i'd be weary of using it until i knew the long-term effects. for now i'll just stick with working out a lot, eating a lot, and some protein shakes...
