That guy obviously hates the ACLU and passes on misinformation. His facts are inaccurate. The ACLU has decided to pull out of that federal program so they do not have to check those lists. This means they won't get anymore federal money but they have decided their principles are more important than money.
I am proud member of the ACLU!

This may come as a shock to all of you blind Bush followers - but the watch lists arent going to be 100% terrorists... the Intelligence Agencies have ****ed up plenty before, but now you're willing to bet that theyre 100% correct about the watch lists??
Basically, if someone is erroneously thought of as a terrorist - they shouldnt have a job... I hope none of you ever end up wrongly accused.

Did they bother to tell anyone when they pulled out? Can you offer any evidence to support your claims?
Let's get to the bottom of this without attacking eachother.
i wrote an essay in english about why the ACLU is so bad for America

Yes, let's continue this "war on terror" and every now and then up the national terror state to orange just to keep people on edge! The more scared the people are the more spending on defense is justified. Then when nothing happens we'll say "see, we prevented the attack!"
You guys honestly trust government watch lists and all this "war on terror" BS?
As much as I hate the ACLU, in general they are a very strong opponent to big oppressive government and they stand up for basic privacy. In that regard they are probably better for this country than the government is.

Um, dude, we live in D.C. and my lady works for a defense contractor... half this city works for the feds. We all know Bush and his "war" is full of it. But it has kicked defense spending into ultra high gear so these government contractor companies are all hiring...

actually i am quite certain the ACLU is a group of socialists.
its not clear to me that the "war" is "full of it". some parts of the war on terror do seem useful and will provide a meaningful result (unless you directly referring to the "war" in iraq). other parts of the war on terror seem to be completely mismanaged (for instance, post-war iraq).
as for the orange alert level, i dont think the base has raised the military threat level. when the base raises the threat level then there's a problem.
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
