• Itunes help...

Anytime a play a song with Itunes it sounds like it skipping horribly, but if i open the same song in winamp or windows media player it sounds fine. If i upload to my ipod it plays fine. What the crap is it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes as well

What is the encoding? I've seen it have problems with some "off" encoding methods. MP3pro comes to mind. Let me know... if need be, I can try the file on my machine. (and no.. I would not call that sharing. I would delete it if I don't already have it)

Ok.. what where they encoded with? I have a dell with iTunes running a 3G 20GB and my Mac laptop running iTunes with a 3G 40GB (maxed out) just fine in my house.

Everything I have is encoded at no less than 128k in mp3 format. If I know it has more acoustics in the upper and lower range, I'll encode at 192 or higher.
