    Ya I'm in the process of fixing up my wonderful [img]graemlins/barf.gif[/img] escort and I need some minor help. All I really need to know is what I should gap my spark plugs b/c I was to cheap to by a hyanes manuel for it. Thanks

    ever think about calling autozone or perhaps the place you bought the plugs from and asking them? they would be able to give you a more accurate answer about escorts then anyone on this site.

        The autozone at home will write the gapping on the box for you, don't even have to ask!

          Also if you are fortunate enough to have an actual owners manual I do believe that the gapping is listed in there.

            there should be a white sticker in the engine compartment showing the vacuum/emissions routing and the spark plug gap.

              Usually, they come pre gapped.

              Or, ask an autozone rep

                  Thanks for the help, I should of asked at the store (advanced auto parts) but I was kinda in a hurry since I had to goto work in a half hour. I'll figure it out this afternoon.
