What's the point of having a Z28 that can drive 160 mph?

It's a really fun gun to shoot and ammo is fairly inexpensive for it. 70 dollars for 1000 rounds.

How much did you end up paying?

That stock is the ATI Monte Carlo stock.
Although I like synthetic stocks, I personally think the wood looks better on an SKS.
Any Chinese markings on the gun to confirm its actually Chinese, and not Yugo, Romanian, etc?

the rifle was $180, $30 for 2-gun case, $30 for the 30rd fixed mag conversion. The rifle is made by Norinco and stamped w/ a serial number and norinco logo, along w/ some chinese symbols.

heres a pic after i converted it to the 30rd fixed mag. looks alot better IMO.

I like the wood stocks too, but i think the synthetic gives it more of an assault rifle look.

you should have bought my SAR-1. cheaper, more mags, more capacity, better build quality.

that SKS is still pretty clean looking, though.

My next rifle purchase will be a SAR-1. Add on a colapseable stock, those are nice.

I've got that exact same rifle case. It'll probaly fit 2 rifles and a couple handguns.

Here's the AK that I bought from tWiStEdBird

Romanian quality is **** compared to Norinco. Please tell me where you can buy a SAR-1 for less than $180? The cheapest AKs, lo-cap (only take single-stack 10rd mags) Romanian WASR-10s, go for $190, and they have become pretty crappy. They come with unfinished wodo furniture, poor bluing, and usually come with canted sights.

She's doing awesome. I've put over 1000rds of Wolf through it, and not a single problem. It was well worth it for all the stuff that came with it. I'm a little bummed about the turned-down barrel, as I can't thread it for a muzzle brake. I finally decided to replace the thumbhole stock, and so I'm waiting for my K-var OD green synthetic stockset to get here.
