    Dating...

    Seeing someone....

    A Boyfriend/girlfriend...

    "Talking"...

    Please give me your definitions... because for some reason i think i'm on a different wavelength.

    Dating= going out with someone more than if you were just "seeing" them. Not really persuing other relationships at the time. At this point you should not be sleeping with anyone else.

    Seeing Someone= going out a few times to see if they have the potential of dating. If you are sleeping with someone else this is the time to tell them that you are seeing someone else, and let both parties know.

    Boyfriend/girlfriend= is an exclusive relationship to develop into something serious. you should NOT sleep with anyone else at this point.

    "talking"= getting to know someone to see if they have the potential to start seeing more of them. should be ok to sleep with someone else.

            For me...

            An ever-closening friendship between a guy and a girl who are attracted to each other in regard to personality and physical looks... a relationship that can survive even in the absence of physical presence (like the LDR with my girlfriend... it's hard but it can work).                     Dating: seeing someone along with other people.. seeing that person between others... by no means monogomous.

                    Seeing Someone: You're inclined to see them only, but if you see someone else you can say "we were only seeing eachother"... also easier to break up if you find out you don't want to be with them.

                    Boyfriend/Girlfriend: Monogomous, traditional bf/gf thing.

                    Talking: Just met, normally one person doesn't like the other as much as the other likes them.
