wow, somehow they lost the $701 rent money order i gave to them. Apparently the guy i paid it to quite the next day, so i guess he threw it away or something. Im gonna beat his ***, I have the money order receipt but its gonna take me forever to get that back. they tried to evict us, i was wtf i gave you like $700 last week. no we didnt get it. bastards, now i have to pay $701 again plus like $156 in late fees, there goes my wonderful return check cuase some retard lost my payment

no they dont give receipts, you can get a hand written one but no one ever does. Now we will make sure we do, yes $165 bucks, $65 intial fee plus the 10 days they said it was late at $10 a day. We have a 2 bedroom, 1005 square feet. $700 can get you a really nice place around here if you know where to look

Man, show them the reciept for your money order and ask them if it's just coincidence that it's the exact amount and that it was purchased just before your rent was due. Tell them you'll take them to small claims court (bluff 'em).

Yeah there's is no way I'd pay that late charge. Sounds like your in apt. complex, so it's not a landlord, but still. I wouldn't fork out an extra $700 either, I'd tell them when you get reimbursed you'll pay them it's not your fault they lost it.
