I'd like to think that there are a lot of cars that could kill a Z06...

Not for the same price range and quality.

A lot of Mags. are hailing the Z06 as the greatest sportscar ever.

European supercars are junk anyway. When they break, good luck.

It's a TVR Tuscan in Swordfish. The styling of the Sagaris looks very mean. It looks very compact and low like it's just gripping the road for dear life. I would still give the new 'Vette the advantage on styling though, it's better proportioned and more refined. I've read the MT review of the Z06 and it's one mean mother****er on the track. It's faster and cheaper than the new Ferrari F430 (and the Ford GT as mentioned.)

Here are some pics of the Sagaris: http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=102&i=7756

The interior looks cheap and the back end looks chopped up and ugly. It costs 50k pounds according to this site (someone with a currency calculator tell me that in $$) but that isn't too much more expensive than the Z06. It really looks like TVR didn't put much effort into the design of the body lines and just tacked on a bunch of vents. Are they all functional? Does it matter? They're still ugly.
The more I look at that car, the uglier it gets. It may be slightly faster than the new 'Vette, but it definitely looks less refined on the interior and exterior. I'm sure it's cheaper to modify as well.

BTW, is that the '05 or '06 Sagaris in the video? I pulled up stats for the '04 as well and it has a straight six putting out 400 hp, but they could've changed it...They gave a 0-60 time for the '04 of 4.0 seconds.

i think elik said the 05 sagaris does 0-60 in 3.6 and the z06 does it in 3.7 a .1 sec differnce. so its very close. as for the vents i think they all help and its not jsut for look. i think what happe nwas they took one of they older cars or cocnepts and amde it into this making it more aerodynamic and and lighter so it woudl definitely be a good competion.
